Meet Steve Deakins
I was born in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey and raised across the United States as part of a military family. That upbringing instilled discipline, adaptability, and a strong sense of service from an early age. After graduating from Hixson High School, I proudly served in the United States Navy, primarily assigned to the Marine Corps.
Following my service, I earned my degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and began my career as a Certified Public Accountant before transitioning into engineering and operations management across several states. Those experiences sharpened my attention to detail and strengthened my understanding of both financial and structural decision-making.
My passion for construction eventually led me to become a Tennessee-licensed home inspector. That hands-on knowledge now gives my clients a deeper level of insight when evaluating homes and navigating new construction.
Since becoming licensed in real estate in 2015, I’ve focused on helping first-time buyers, veterans, and families feel confident in their decisions. I believe informed clients make better long-term investments — and I take that responsibility seriously.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing golf and spending time with my granddaughter — especially taking her to school each morning.
Meet Mark Blazek
I was born in Chicago and raised in Milwaukee, Nashville, and Chattanooga. After graduating from Hixson High School and attending the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, I began my professional journey in our family’s food brokerage business. That experience taught me the importance of relationships, reliability, and long-term trust.
I became licensed in real estate in 1999 and quickly immersed myself in serving both clients and the broader real estate community. I’ve had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors and MLS Committees, and in 2013, I was honored to serve as President of the Greater Chattanooga Association of Realtors.
Over the years, I’ve earned several professional designations — including CRS, GRI, ABR, e-PRO®, and eCertified® — all reflecting my commitment to continued growth and excellence in this profession.
I specialize in new construction and guiding buyers and sellers through important life transitions. I believe deeply in the Golden Rule — and I strive to under-promise and over-deliver in everything I do.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me spending time with my grandchildren, enjoying Tennessee’s lakes and rivers, or exploring Chattanooga’s local restaurants.
